Aqueerius

This is the dawning of the age of Aqueerius.

Every June we like to throw something a little extra into the tank, and this year it swam out looking like this — a pufferfish in full rainbow regalia, puffed up with pride and not the slightest bit shy about it. Aqueerius is our Pride Month sour, brewed to be exactly the kind of thirst quencher a hot Honolulu afternoon (or a parade route) calls for.

Raspberry and lime do the heavy lifting here, and they do it well together — tart raspberry rolling in first, bright lime cutting through right behind it, the two of them meeting in the middle to melt whatever ice needed melting. It's a sour built for getting heated and cooling off in the same breath, which, if you think about it, is a pretty good description of Pride itself.

We made this one to be fun. Simple as that. Pop the top, let the color and the fizz do their thing, and celebrate a little love — the world's got plenty of room for more of it.
