Kui

KUI is a Hazy IPA born from the intersection of Hawaiian art and the power of wāhine storytelling. Brewed in collaboration with Shakafunk — the West Oʻahu-born creative design studio dedicated to representing Hawaiʻi culture in the marketplace — and crafted to benefit Hawaiʻi Women in Filmmaking, a Honolulu-based 501(c)(3) non-profit empowering the next generation of Hawaiian women filmmakers.

The name KUI means to string or to pierce — as in the ancient art of lei making — and that spirit runs through every element of this beer. Shakafunk's striking illustration brings that tradition to life, depicting a Hawaiian woman stringing a lei in full bloom, surrounded by pikake and tropical foliage. It is a portrait of patience, artistry, and grace.

In the glass, KUI delivers the soft, pillowy haze you'd expect from a world-class Hazy IPA. White peach, mango, and pineapple lead the way — tropical, bright, and effortlessly smooth. It's the kind of beer that feels like Hawaii in a can.

Every pour supports Hawaiʻi Women in Filmmaking's mission to create a diverse and inclusive cinematic landscape in Hawaiʻi — funding education, film production, and advocacy for wāhine storytellers across the islands.
