We are a new brewery opening up in Kaka'ako! We will have a full production brewing facility right next to a taproom and full kitchen. We are looking for amazing service staff to compliment our opening team.

Job Summary

Be the first and last friendly impression to guests of Hana Koa Brewing by maintaining the traffic flow of the Taproom.

 

Directly reports to the Taproom Manager.

 

This position has opportunities for growth and promotion.

Essential Duties

  • Greet guests and seat them at tables and/or direct them to the waiting areas.

  • Provide guests with clean menus.

  • Receive and record patrons' dining reservations.

  • Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and customers' concerns are addressed.

  • Communicate with servers of new tables before seating to maintain a positive customer experience

  • Inform patrons of establishment specialties, promotions, events and features.

  • Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seatings.

  • Speak with patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service, to respond to complaints, or to make conversation.

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of dining room staff to ensure that patrons receive prompt and courteous service.

  • Communicate directly with Food Runner / Busser about what is available to be seated in the taproom

 

Education

A high school diploma (or GED or high school equivalence certificate) is preferred.
