Job Summary

​

Assist the Bartenders with service and cleanliness at the bar.

 

Directly reports to the Taproom Manager.

 

This job has the opportunity for growth and promotion.

​

Essential Duties

​

• Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths or replace dirty tablecloths

• Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to dish pit for cleaning

• Clean up spilled food, drink, and broken dishes. Remove empty bottles and trash

• Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties for the bar

• Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, or trays

• Serve ice water to patrons and keep ice bins full

• Keep the bar stocked with clean glassware

• Clean dirty bar glassware, keeping them separate from the kitchen dishwasher

• Work closely with the food and beverage runner for the bar top and lounge patrons

• Clean the tap lines after kegs kick to maintain the freshness of the beer

• Change kegs to maintain availability of beers on the tap list

Education

​

This position requires a high school diploma (or GED or high school equivalence certificate).

​

Any Cicerone Certifications a plus!
